Renaissance Faire at Furnace Town

A one-day medieval-themed event held at Furnace Town Historic Site, a preserved historic village on Old Furnace Road outside Snow Hill on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Visitors find historical reenactments, artisan crafts, live music and performances, along with a costume contest and food and beverage vendors. The faire draws on the site's grounds and has grown into one of Furnace Town's better-known annual gatherings, supported by sponsors, vendors and volunteers. The organisers have postponed the event and plan for its return, with the historic site itself remaining open seasonally for general admission.
