Furnace Fairies and Gnomes Celebration

A one-day spring fairy and gnome festival held on the grounds of Furnace Town Historic Site in Snow Hill, Maryland, where a Fairy Queen and her entourage of musicians, magicians and storytellers take over the historic village. Visitors walk grassy paths and wooded trails among more than 30 artisan vendors selling handcrafted goods, jewelry, fiber work, art and miniatures, alongside live performances, roaming characters, fairy tales and crafts. Multiple food vendors and the Furnace Towne Grille serve food, and a gift shop sits near the main entrance. Costumes are encouraged and leashed pets are welcome; the event runs rain or shine.
