Argren Faire

Argren Faire is a neighborhood renaissance faire in Milwaukee's Riverwest area, held at and around Black Husky Brewing and along Locust Street between Humboldt and Fratney. It takes its theme from Argren, the mythical setting of the Spirit Song Saga by Milwaukee authors Ross Hightower and Deb Heim. The daylong event draws on music, feats of strength, a costume contest, a beard contest, beer, a live aluminum pour by Milwaukee Makerspace, and an author's alley with ten local fantasy writers. The first edition drew more than 2,500 people.
