Janesville Renaissance Faire

A two-day outdoor renaissance event held rain or shine at Traxler Park, on the riverside in Janesville, Wisconsin. Entertainment includes sea chanty singers, sword swallowing and fire eating, bellydance, Irish and traditional folk music, storytelling, bubble shows, aerial arts and fire spinning, whip cracking, and medieval combat with a tournament, alongside living history encampments representing a knight, a siege camp and a 16th-century military unit. Vendors, food vendors and a tavern area round out the grounds, and guests are welcome in costume, with peace-tied period weapons permitted. Discounted admission is offered for food or hygiene donations supporting local charities.
