San Diego Scottish Highland Games

A weekend Scottish cultural festival held at Mission Valley River Park in San Diego, next to Snapdragon Stadium and right off the Stadium Trolley stop. Run by an educational non-profit with a history of more than 50 years, the Games draw an average attendance of 17,000 and include heavy athletics, pipe and drum competition, Highland dance, live sheepdog trials, 14 hours of live music on two stages, a whisky tasting, a beer garden, and more than 50 vendors of Celtic, Scottish, and British goods. On-site parking is $3 per day and can be reserved in advance.
