Renaissance of Kings Faire

Held at Hanford Civic Park in Hanford, California, this two-day faire recreates the English Renaissance under Henry VIII and his court, turning the park into 16th-century "Hanfordshire" with village street scenes, period guild encampments and two stages of entertainment. Hundreds of costumed performers and merchants from California and other states take part, offering music, magic, dance, storytelling, jugglers, armored knights in live steel shows, royal pageantry and children's games, alongside crafts such as jewelry, leather, pottery, period clothing and blades, plus varied food and drink. Admission is $5 for ages 13 and up, $3 for ages 4 to 12, free under 4, with free parking.
