Old Falls Elizabethan Renaissance Faire

Held at Old Falls Village Park in Menomonee Falls, this weekend faire recreates the era of King James with a marketplace of vendor booths selling handcrafted goods and period-appropriate wares. Scheduled entertainment spans jousting demonstrations, buhurt and rapier combat, sword-fighting training, archery, bagpiping, magic shows, storytelling and Celtic, bluegrass and sea shanty music on several stages. Family activities include unicorn rides, a scavenger hunt and knighting ceremonies by the King's Court, while a biergarten, food vendors and a Friday fish fry serve refreshments. A pirate theme runs through the weekend, with a costume contest.
