Knoxville Medieval Festival

A one-day medieval gathering held on Babelay Road in east Knoxville, offering free admission. The program centers on live entertainment, craft vendors and food vendors, with an archery competition pitting Robin Hood against Maid Marian as a featured draw. Robin Hood's fletcher, Greywood, attends with hand-crafted arrows and demonstrations of archery skill. Axe throwing runs throughout the day, with challenges for individuals aiming at the bullseye as well as a couples category. Only service animals are permitted on the grounds; other pets should be left at home.
