Chattanooga Renaissance Faire

The Chattanooga Renaissance Faire is a pop-up faire staged in public parkland along the river, spanning Coolidge Park and Renaissance Park in downtown Chattanooga. Rather than using permanent grounds, the organisers build the village in roughly 24 hours, bringing in tents, banners, themed structures and a stone-look castle before dismantling it all after the weekend. Visitors find three stages of live entertainment, combat arenas, armored combat, stationed and roaming performers, musicians and characters, plus artisan vendors and demonstrations by a blacksmith, metalsmith, potter and other traditional craftspeople. Food and beverage vendors serve throughout, and the event follows a storyline set in the Kingdom of Aldston.
