Great Northern Viking Festival

A Viking-themed festival held in Mankato, Minnesota, produced by Northern Woman Productions under the direction of Inga Northern. The weekend gathering focuses on Viking history and culture with live music, storytelling, mead, combat displays, and demonstrations of older skills such as blacksmithing and mead-making, alongside crafting workshops with Viking artisans. Programming includes a 21-plus evening event called A Night in Valhalla, a family day, a mead competition, vendors and camping. The organisers state a zero-tolerance policy toward hate-related insignia, discrimination and harassment, and welcome attendees regardless of heritage.
