Bedrock Gardens Fairy House and Hobbit Festival

A three-day summer festival held in the woodlands and gardens of Bedrock Gardens in Lee, New Hampshire, where trails are turned into an Enchanted Village of fairy and hobbit dwellings. Visitors of all ages take part in hands-on activities: collecting building supplies at the 'Gnome Depot' to construct fairy houses along the trail, making herbal fairy dust dream pillows, face painting, receiving a personalized fairy or hobbit name from the Woodland Folk, and honey tastings with Bedrock's Queen Bee. Entrants may deliver houses built from natural materials for a visitor-voted Designer Fairy and Hobbit House Competition. Costumes are encouraged, and the event serves as the garden's annual fundraiser.
