Arkansas Renaissance Festival

Held at Dragonstone Springs in Mount Vernon, the Arkansas Renaissance Festival recreates a 16th-century village across six weekends of Saturdays, Sundays and Labor Day, billed as Arkansas's largest and only permanent Renaissance festival. Visitors find live jousting and sword fighting, stage performances, music and comedy, a street cast, artisan markets with demonstrations, food vendors, a Royal Archery Tournament and Maypole dancing, plus themed weekends covering high fantasy, pirates, a masquerade, Celtic, Viking and Halloween subjects. Gates are open 10am to 6pm. Additional offerings include a Queen's Tea, Champion's Feast, School Days and hands-on Dragonstone Experiences in crafts such as pottery, chainmail and blacksmithing.
