Virginia Renaissance Faire

The Virginia Renaissance Faire is held at Lake Anna Winery in Spotsylvania, Virginia, where the grounds become the fictional village of Staffordshire across five spring weekends, each with its own theme such as Celtic heritage, a pirate invasion, Shakespeare and fantasy, and romance. Visitors find music and stage performances, jousting and armored combat, hound coursing, a royal court, the Staffordshire militia, a historical kitchen and other living history demonstrations, plus a marketplace of artisan jewelry, clothing, decorations and handmade artwork. Much of the cast is volunteer. Tickets are sold online only and are not available at the gate; some vendors take cash only, though ATMs are onsite.
