Fredericksburg Fall Fairy and Dragon Festival

The FXBG Fall Fairy and Dragon Festival, formerly the Fredericksburg Fall Fairy Festival, is a family-oriented fantasy event held at Mattaponi Winery in the Virginia countryside near Spotsylvania. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume alongside professional entertainers, musicians and costumed "magical creatures," and free activities include a wizard show, drum circle, witches dance, craft table, archery, unicorn rides on costumed ponies and horses, and a mermaid. A vendor row offers handcrafted fairy wings, dragon eggs, jewelry, crochet plushies and pottery, and there are fairy garden and costume contests. Gate admission is $20 for adults, $15 for children 5 and older, and free for children 4 and under.
