VikingFest

VikingFest is a Viking-themed festival held at Castle Bridge, a farm in St. Joseph, Missouri, where the grounds become the 11th-century trading city of Hedeby and visitors can join one of four rival clans in an ongoing story. Areas include Hedeby Village with craftspeople and sagas, Thor's Arena for combat and feats of strength, Asgard for feasting and Dungeons & Dragons sessions, Kidgard for children, Skald's Stage for music, and a pyre lit at sundown. Friday evening is adults-only, while Saturday daytime is all ages. The event runs rain or shine, mostly outdoors on grass and gravel, with ramps serving several areas.
