Lost Spanish Treasure Hunt & Faire

A renaissance faire with a Spanish flavor, staged at a castle near Fordland, Missouri. The centerpiece is a hunt for the lost pirate treasure of Amaro Pargo: clues are handed out with admission, no digging is required, and the prize is not hidden in the castle itself. Entertainment includes an artisan marketplace, trick riders with fire, live combat, magical performers, and a flamenco dance contest, with performers and vendors carrying an eighteenth-century flair. Visitors can sign up for hands-on classes such as stone-wall building and mold making. The event is family friendly and benefits local not-for-profit organizations.
