Bluffwoods Renaissance Festival

The Bluffwoods Renaissance Festival is held at the Castle Bridge Event Center in St. Joseph, Missouri, about an hour north of Kansas City, where the grounds are transformed into a medieval realm each season. Features include a dedicated jousting arena, covered stages, the Bardzebo pavilion for storytellers and musicians, and a landlocked pirate ship, The Mermaids Curse, housing the Scurvy Stage for sea shanties. A marketplace with more than 60 artisan vendors, an air-conditioned indoor tavern and food hall, and a settlement for SCA and Viking guilds round out the event, framed by a story of warring princes and magical creatures.
