Tybee Island Pirate Fest

Tybee Island Pirate Fest is a pirate-themed festival held annually over Columbus Day weekend in downtown Tybee Island, Georgia. It was started in 2005 by TybeeFest, a local non-profit, and has grown each year with help from volunteers, the city government, and area businesses. The festival takes place among the downtown shops and restaurants, close to the island's beach and pier, and draws pirate fans from around the country.
