Georgia Renaissance Festival

Georgia Renaissance Festival occupies a Renaissance village site on Virlyn B. Smith Road in Fairburn, south of Metro Atlanta, laid out with tournament fields, live stages, artisan shoppes, taverns, food stands, games and attractions. The festival runs two distinct seasons: a spring festival built around Tudor royalty and Henry VIII, and a fall run themed on Robin Hood, Marian and the Sheriff of Nottingham, plus 21-and-over after-hours nights with music, dancing and costumes. Fall programming uses fifteen stages and three daily jousts, with folk and fantasy music, circus, aerial arts, comedy, magic, Shakespeare and roaming characters. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
