Texas Viking Festival and Skaldic Althing

The Texas Viking Festival and Skaldic Althing is a two-weekend family event held around Yule and the winter solstice, open to the public and presented as an inclusive gathering welcoming attendees regardless of gender identity, ethnicity, orientation, religion, nationality or disability. Visitors find music, vendors selling handmade gifts, feasting, food and drink, traditional Viking activities and performances, plus a Yule Blot ceremony. Camping is available with season passes, which allow campsites to stay set up between weekends. Day passes run about $25 to $75, children under six are free, and children aged six to twelve pay a reduced on-site rate.
