Frisco Library Renaissance Faire

A free, family-friendly renaissance faire put on by the Frisco library in Frisco, Texas, founded in 2025. The afternoon event mixes hands-on history with live performance: musicians including the North Texas School of Irish Music and Sombati, combat demonstrations of historical fighting techniques, a blacksmith working a forge, and leatherworking demos by members of the Dallas Makerspace. Visitors can also shop artisan vendors, try renaissance-themed crafts and games, and take part in a self-guided Dungeons & Dragons quest that runs across the whole event. Costumes are encouraged but optional, and prop weapons are not allowed.
