Dickens on The Strand Festival

Dickens on The Strand is an annual Victorian-themed holiday festival presented by Galveston Historical Foundation in Galveston's Strand district. Based on 19th-century Victorian London, it features parades, roaming costumed characters, and continuous entertainment across four stages, along with family programming and special events such as Victorian bed races and a short story contest. Costumed vendors sell from street stalls and rolling carts stocked with holiday food and drink, Victorian-inspired crafts, clothing, jewelry, decorations and gifts. Additions include Tiny Tim's Play Land and a Shopkeeper Skills Village, plus children's activities.
