Tarborough Faire

The Tarborough Faire is a one-day Renaissance-inspired event held in downtown Tarboro, North Carolina, running from 10am to 6pm. Programming spreads across several stages and venues, including the Edgcumbe Stage, a Punch & Judy stage, a tavern, the Fight Knight stage and the Edgecombe Memorial Library, with a Queen's Proclamation and knighting ceremony, armored duels, minstrels and the Honeyjacks band, puppet shows, Mother Goose tales, a drum circle and local history talks. A marketplace gathers artisans, crafters, non-profits and food vendors selling crochet, crystals, jewelry, stained glass, blacksmithed knives, face painting and street food.
