Summerville Mini Renaissance Festival

Held at the historic Summerville Depot and adjoining Dowdy Park in northwest Georgia, this compact Renaissance, medieval and pirate festival is organized by the City of Summerville together with Summerville Main Street. The single-day event fills the downtown site with live entertainment across multiple stages featuring regional performers, artisan and fine craft vendors, art displays, games and a substantial lineup of food booths. Visitors are encouraged to arrive in costume, and interactive appearances by costumed characters are part of the program. A steam engine visit from the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum and a demonstration of the Summerville turntable have also been featured. Admission is free.
