Sparta, New Jersey Renaissance Festival

The Sparta New Jersey Renaissance Festival is held at Camp Sacajawea, a privately owned wooded camp on White Lake Road in Sparta that has been developed with a medieval and renaissance theme and also serves as home to the Knight Realms live-action game. The faire runs Saturdays and Sundays across three September weekends from 10am to 6pm, mixing renaissance staging with celtic, viking, pirate and fantasy elements rather than strict historical accuracy. Visitors find over fifty vendors, stage shows and music, interactive guild experiences, an Enchanted Forest adventure, gem mining, a bird show, games and several bars. Parking lots are on site.
