Cape May Renaissance Faire

A one-weekend Renaissance-themed festival held at the Cape May 4H Fairgrounds in Cape May Court House, with unpaved, uneven grounds and parking at the fairgrounds, an adjacent college lot and the county zoo across the street. Visitors find live music and comedy, sword fighting, historical demonstrations, mounted equestrian entertainment, falconry and birds of prey shows, interactive fairy-tale storytelling, participatory Renaissance country dancing, and armored combat, alongside hands-on activities such as archery and axe-throwing. Vendors sell handmade clothing and wares, and food and drink are available, though no alcohol is served. Costume is welcomed but not required.
