Renaissance Faire at Historic Smithville

A two-day event held on the Village Greene side of the historic village of Smithville, which is recast as the Shire of Smithville in the setting of the English Renaissance. Players of the New Jersey Renaissance Faire provide street characters and interaction, with comedy, tragedy, sword fighting, dance, song, knights and jesters, plus a variety of music. Visitors can also browse the wares of local vendors and traveling merchants offering historical gifts and finely crafted items, with more than ten additional vendors set up on the village green.
