Silver Sage Renaissance Festival

Silver Sage Renaissance Festival is a community-based, educational event held in Joplin, Missouri, in a recreated Renaissance-era village. Founded in Garden City, Kansas, it relocated to the Joplin area after its founder and treasurer moved there. Programming centers on immersive learning through audience participation, historical reenactments, oral traditions, hands-on sensory activities, artisan crafts and knights, aimed at both casual visitors and avid reenactors. Gates run from 10am to 6pm, and the event is rain or shine. Trained service animals are permitted with a completed form and vaccination records, while pets and emotional support animals are not.
