Rockwood Fairy Festival

A free family festival at Rockwood Park and Museum in Wilmington, built around childhood imagination and costumed play, with children arriving as fairies, pirates, gnomes and superheroes. Programming includes stage performances by local dance and theatre companies, costume parades led by Tinkerbell and friends, make-and-take crafts, story time with the county library, sword school with the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation, Tinkertown with the Delaware Children's Museum, a petting zoo with unicorn pony photos, a children's entrepreneur market, craft vendors and food trucks. Admission is free; there is no on-site parking, but free remote parking with shuttles, including a handicap accessible bus, is provided.
