Bowers Beach Buccaneer Bash

The Bowers Beach Buccaneer Bash is a family-friendly pirate festival held at Waterman's Park on Murderkill Avenue in Frederica, Delaware. The event brings 18th-century pirate life to life through historical reenactment, demonstrations, theater, and music. Costumed reenactors, tradespeople, and craftsmen portray the daily life of the era, interacting with visitors and discussing its history. Alongside the living-history programming there is food, live entertainment, and activities for children. Admission is free, and the festival is held rain or shine.
