PirateFest

PirateFest is a one-day pirate festival held on the banks of the Tar River along 1st Street in downtown Greenville, North Carolina, at the Town Common. The program includes fine arts for sale, live music, beer, pirate encampments with sword fighting, and cannon demonstrations by costumed pirate reenactors, with pirate groups travelling in from across the state. Organised by the Downtown Greenville Partnership and tied to the city's connection with East Carolina University and its Pirates, it runs from 11:00AM to 7:00PM and draws visitors of all ages.
