NM Renaissance Celtic Festival

A two-weekend Celtic and medieval festival held at Wildlife West Nature Park in Edgewood, New Mexico, themed around Mary, Queen of Scots, and her consort King James. Visitors find five stages of music and entertainment, Scottish family clan tents, Viking encampments, arena demonstrations and fighting exhibitions, a horse show, and an artisan marketplace with more than 150 craft vendors plus food and drink. Family features include an interactive Festival Quest, a free kids' knighting ceremony, a Kids Realm with face painting and foam sword training, archery and other games of skill, a royal parade, and a separately ticketed Queen's Tea.
