Lincoln Forest Reniassance Faire

An annual medieval and Renaissance event held at Wingfield Park in Midtown Ruidoso, New Mexico, produced by Oso Productions with community volunteers and presented as both entertaining and educational. Entertainment includes armored combat tournaments and fighting knights, live music and variety performers, a magician, ventriloquist, circus and fire acts, archery tag, a daily costume contest and the Society for Creative Anachronism. Artisan vendors sell handcrafted goods, Renaissance attire, jewelry and swords, with blacksmithing demonstrations, while food vendors offer turkey legs, mead and local fare. Children's activities include craft stations, story time, scavenger hunts, face painting and a kids knighting.
