Niagara Celtic Heritage Festival & Highland Games

A two-day Celtic festival and Highland games held at the Niagara County Fairgrounds in Lockport, alongside the historic district and the Erie Canal, less than an hour from Buffalo and Rochester. The event draws roughly 12,000 guests and participants and presents the traditions of Ireland, Scotland, Wales and other Celtic nations. The grounds are divided into themed regions containing music stages, pubs, a Celtic arts stage and Celtic College, a clan village, an athletic field for the Highland games, riding and arena areas with animals, craftsmen, vendors, fantasy and history groups, a children's area and an after-hours ceilidh.
