Long Island Fairy Festival

A one-day fairy-themed festival held at the Sands Point Preserve, a nature preserve with forest, pond, meadow and beach ecosystems, built around themes of nature, creativity and imagination. Attractions include a Fairy House Walk featuring houses built by community members, a fairy art exhibit and artist invitational competition, magic shows, mermaids, immersive theatre, a maypole, bubble performances, face painting, fairy crafts and stories, nature walks and hands-on wilderness skills. Food trucks and a Magical Marketplace vendor market operate on site, and many guests attend in costume. Tickets must be bought in advance and are sold per car.
