New Braunfels Renaissance Faire

A December renaissance faire in the Texas Hill Country, billed as New Braunfels' only renaissance faire and the closest one to Austin and San Antonio. Entertainment includes jousting, dancing and music, along with drink service, and the event runs across two weekends with family-friendly programming; a Santa appearance has featured in past years. The organisers support local nonprofits, and the Humane Society takes part by raising funds at one of the bars and bringing adoptable dogs. Admission is $12 online or $15 at the gate, with children under 12 admitted free.
