Louisiana Renaissance Festival

The Louisiana Renaissance Festival is an autumn event in Hammond, Louisiana, that recreates the atmosphere, culture and entertainment of the Renaissance period, roughly the 14th to 17th centuries in Europe. Each year the grounds become the English village of Albright, with more than 600 artisans, entertainers and educational demonstrations presenting aspects of the 16th century. Visitors find staged shows, food and drink vendors, and shopping from artisans selling crafts and gifts, in an immersive village setting at 46468 River Road.
