Acadiana Pirate Festival

The Acadiana Pirate Festival is a pirate-themed event held at The Sidecar on Refinery Street in Lafayette, Louisiana, in the heart of the city. Entertainment comes from Under The Black Pirate Troupe, The Whiskey Bay Rovers, Buckler & Dirks, the Acadiana Merfolk and Lady Katherine. Alongside the performances are local food and craft vendors, artisans, games, face painting, costume contests and a silent auction benefiting Hearts of Hope. The festival also recruits volunteers and accepts donations toward future editions.
