Lewis County Renaissance Faire

A volunteer-run renaissance faire held at the Lewis County Fairgrounds in Lowville, with proceeds benefiting the nonprofit Youth of Lewis County. The grounds are divided into three districts \u2014 the Village Green with the Main Stage, the Market District with the Gazebo Stage, indoor merchants and food trucks, and the Fields of Honor with a horse arena, archery range and escape rooms. Attractions include staged knight battles, jesters, minstrels, falconry, duellists, tarot readings, carriage rides, a costume contest, pie-eating and hobby horsing, a dragon egg hunt, an artisan marketplace and food such as turkey legs. A Grand Parade runs at noon each day; costumes are encouraged but not required.
