Hynafol

Hynafol is an immersive Arthurian-themed live action roleplaying experience rather than a spectator faire, set in a medieval fantasy world of knights, magic, quests and battles. Participants pledge to one of five courts led by figures such as Arthur, Mordred, Merlin, the Lady of the Lake and Morgana, then play a character over the course of an event. Activities range from foam-weapon combat and quests to political councils, alchemy, rituals, feasts and tavern nights, with non-combat options available. Event formats include short expeditions, courtly evenings, a spring ball and a multi-day grand gathering, and newcomers are guided through character and gear choices.
