Hub City Renaissance Faire

Presented by the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts, the Hub City Renaissance Faire is a one-day, family-friendly street event in Lubbock built around a different theme each year, with vendors and performers required to appear in Renaissance, medieval or fantasy garb. Attendees find an artisan marketplace selling period-inspired clothing, handmade pottery, leather and wooden goods, armor and weaponry, art prints, books, toys and games, alongside food trucks and period-inspired fare. Entertainment includes actors and street performances, folk and period musicians, jugglers and acrobats, dancers, storytellers, living history reenactors, and vocalists. The faire takes place rain or shine, with nearby street closures.
