Holland Waterfront Celtic Festival and Highland Games

A two-day Celtic festival and Highland Games staged at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds in Holland, Michigan, and organized by the Holland Celtic Society, a non-profit that promotes Celtic history, customs, sports, food and genealogy. Friday evening is a 21-and-older ceilidh held in a large pub tent with live bands, while Saturday is an all-ages day featuring ancient athletic competitions, Irish and Scottish music on two stages, a dance stage, and Scottish clan and society tents for tracing Celtic roots. Vendors sell Celtic goods along with Scottish and Irish food. The event runs rain or shine, with tented venues.
