Greeley Irish Festival

A one-day Irish festival in Greeley, Nebraska, celebrating the town's founding heritage with music, dance and cultural programming held rain or shine. The day opens with a Family Clan Parade led by the Omaha Pipers, and open-air and dance stages carry continuous live entertainment ranging from traditional Irish folk to Celtic rock, plus Irish step dance performances and an after-dark video presentation titled "Tribute to the Deceased." Indoors, a Culture Center offers speakers, displays and lessons in Celtic instruments and step dancing, alongside a bean bag toss tournament, children's arts and crafts, face painting, and food and merchandise vendors.
