Lincoln Renaissance Festival

The Lincoln Renaissance Festival is a two-day Renaissance-themed event held at The Outdoor Education Center at Cornhusker Council in Walton, Nebraska, east of Lincoln, and is run by Midwest Festivals, which stages similar events across Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois and Indiana. Gates open from 10am to 6pm, and the grounds hold a merchant village selling wares such as circlets, ear cuffs, mushroom hats, bags and jewellery, plus festival food including turkey legs and lemonade. Entertainment includes stage performers, fire performance, costumed characters in a witches' glen with broom jousting, and cockatoos.
