Midwest Pirate Fest

The Midwest Pirate Festival is a two-day pirate-themed event held at the Bellevue Berry Farm in Papillion, Nebraska, described on its site as Nebraska's largest pirate festival. Visitors find stage competitions and interactive events running through the day, including a pet costume contest, a daily cash treasure hunt, puzzles, games and skill challenges, plus merchants and vendors and a roster of performers. Costumes are optional and attendees may come in seafaring garb or ordinary clothes. Cannon fire using black powder is set off several times each day, and both free and paid parking are available.
