Greater Quad Cities Renaissance Faire

The Greater Quad Cities Renaissance Festival is a medieval-themed weekend event held along the Mississippi, where knights, nobles and costumed characters populate a festival village. Visitors find a marketplace of handcrafted wares and artisan goods from vendors and craftspeople, street performers including jesters, musicians, fire-breathers and acrobats working the lanes, and main stage programming with jousting tournaments, theatrical storytelling, music and dance. Food and drink include turkey legs, sweets and craft beverages. The organisers also run renaissance festivals in several other states, with this one serving the Quad Cities area.
