The Great Raven Renaissance Festival is a two-day outdoor event in Galesburg, Michigan, held in the woods along the river at Glenshire behind City Hall, combining a renaissance festival with a rockhound festival and its own Rockhound Alley of rock and crystal vendors. More than 130 vendors join live music, armored combat and sword fighting, axe throwing, belly dancers, comedy acts, aerial performance, blacksmith, pottery and glass blowing demonstrations, Viking and pirate camps, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting and fortune tellers. Parking is free at two school lots with free shuttles, with handicap parking at City Hall. The site is natural woodland with mud and uneven ground; service animals are permitted, and free yellow wristbands let guests opt out of performer interaction.
