Fairies & Forts

Fairies & Forts is a family evening event at Michigan Legacy Art Park, a nonprofit sculpture park set on a 30-acre forest preserve at Crystal Mountain in northern Michigan. The program includes art projects at Discovery Grove and stories and songs at the park's outdoor amphitheater, with attendees encouraged to dress in theme. Sponsorships through the park's Summer Sounds program keep the event free for local and visiting families. The surrounding park offers about two miles of hiking trails with more than 50 sculptures and over 30 poetry stones, plus picnic areas near the trailhead.
