Ely Renaissance Faire & Pumpkin Festival

The Ely Renaissance Faire & Pumpkin Festival is a fall event held at Broadbent Park in Ely, Nevada, organized by the Ely Lions Club. It pairs medieval entertainment — armored knight combat, equestrian displays, blacksmiths at the forge, Shakespearean performers and live music — with harvest traditions including a pumpkin patch, a punkin' chunkin' pumpkin-throwing contest, pumpkin drops, bounce houses and carnival games. A Kids Kingdom area offers games, shows and animal encounters, and costume contests are held for both people and pets. Vendor booths and food trucks line the park. Admission is free, and proceeds support the Lions Club's community projects.
