Days of Knights

Days of Knights is a free, not-for-profit educational living history event held at Charles Alley Nature Park in Lancaster, in central Ohio outside Columbus. It is organized as a timeline encampment arranged chronologically from the Roman Empire to the beginning of the Renaissance, with reenactors portraying Norman invaders of 1066, crusaders of the 1200s, and archers and knights of the Hundred Years War. Visitors can talk with interpreters, handle objects and try on armor, and attend presentations on medieval foodways, crafting, daily life, and the roles of women and religion. The organisers stress historical accuracy and note it is not a renaissance fair.
